Kevin Foster is a lifelong entrepreneur, business owner, and community-builder with more than four decades of experience. He is the founder and Owner/Operator of Foster Construction Inc., a family-owned company that has been in continuous operation for nearly 40 years. Under his leadership, Foster Construction has built more than 1,200 new residential units across Bedford, Campbell, Amherst counties, and the City of Lynchburg, while also completing numerous commercial projects, multifamily developments, historic renovations, townhomes, apartments, and single-family homes. For Kevin, construction is more than a business—it is a deeply rooted passion.
One of Kevin’s greatest achievements is cultivating a skilled, resilient team capable of thriving in both strong markets and difficult economic seasons. He has long believed that the success of any organization is defined by the quality and character of its people. For this reason, he places high priority on hiring exceptional subcontractors and employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and industry excellence—resulting in knowledgeable staff and consistently satisfied clients. His depth of construction management experience, paired with his ability to effectively coordinate subcontractors, has been instrumental in the company’s long-standing success.
Kevin’s vision extends beyond structures—he is committed to building strong communities locally and around the world. He is the founder of H2O-Life, a nonprofit dedicated to meeting practical needs in underserved areas through child sponsorship, construction of schools, churches, medical facilities, and homes, as well as drilling clean-water wells. His humanitarian work has contributed to meaningful sustainable impact in 47 developing countries and continues to expand.
Kevin has been married to his wife for 39 years. They have two children, two grandchildren, and he faithfully serves on multiple Boards of directors both locally and internationally.
